Born and raised on a farm in Nebraska, Dr. Paul G. Goetowski or "Dr. G" attained both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Nebraska after which he moved to Fargo, North Dakota to complete an internship in internal medicine at the University of North Dakota. He then attended the University of Wisconsin for residency training in radiation oncology where he was the Chief Resident in 1987. His next three years were spent working as the medical director for the Nebraska Methodist Cancer Center in Omaha, at which time Dr. Goetowski was selected to develop and head the Carolina Cancer Center in Aiken, South Carolina. It was during his thirteen year stay there that he developed the first stereotactic radiosurgery and prostate brachytherapy programs in the state. Afterwards, he continued to further develop his clinical practice at the Carolina Regional Cancer Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. Throughout his career, Dr. Goetowski has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at medical schools in Georgia and South Carolina. In January 2011, he joined the Community Cancer Center of North Florida to offer his tremendous knowledge and experience in radiation oncology. In his spare time, Dr. Goetowski enjoys spending time with his wife and six children, and he also has fun playing with computers and construction equipment.
